Heard about this concept in the movie Inside Out (needless to say, another fabulous movie). They said about how our brain store core memories, which form the building blocks of our personality and probably life thereafter. Also, we don’t choose these memories they are captured by deep emotions that we feel, and they are deeply rooted.
I realized how deeply rooted they are only today when I saw a kid sitting in the trolley bag at the airport and her dad moving her back and forth. It immediately bought one of my childhood memories when I was very tiny and visited the airport for the first time, and my dadda took me all over on the trolley bag. The scene is as fresh in my memory as yesterday, and I still remember how joyful that experience was!
